Jake's Football team was able to go to Mesquite again this year and compete in the Utah Invitational Tournament the week before Thanksgiving. It's always so much fun to hang out with all the boys and their families. Jake has a pretty awesome team. Whether they are winning or losing, they are always working hard and trying to be a better team. He has been able to stay with the same coach for all 4 of the seasons that he's played tackle. I'm not sure if he's willing to play football for anyone but Coach Briggs. It is seeming more and more like lacrosse will take this boys heart, especially if his team falls apart. Hopefully he has at least one more season in him! I love watching Jake be passionate about teamwork and the friendships he has developed over the past 4 years.
