Nice...

sometimes I wonder if I KNOW the person who submitted THIS add????
Think she knows?
Sometimes homework with OUR 4th grader makes me WANT to allow him to be this SMART!!!!
SO SAD...somedays "newspaper carrier" feels like THIS
Self explanatory....

And the last is best of all the game...

AND we THANK you for your contributions....

Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice"?

If you are cross-eyed and dyslexic at the same time, would you see okay?

Why do they put Braille dots on the keypad of the drive up ATM?

My NEW church assignment...

I am SO excited to be able to serve on the Girls Camp committee for our stake this summer! I know that it will be a struggle for Brian, but he is such a sweet, supportive guy! I KNOW he'll handle things just fine! I am looking forward to spending time with the fantastic Young Women in our stake and being able to share an unforgettable experience with the women who run the show...
I hope girls camp still holds the same testimony building standards as when I was one of the girls! It was ALWAYS one of my very favorite parts of the summer! So...thanks ladies for inviting me!!!!
I can't imagine turning down the opportunity to spend 5 days strengthening ourselves as Daughters of God...

Sweetness

GIRL, n.: a giggle wrapped in sunshine.
Allie and Trevor at the pinewood derby. Trev will make a great Daddy someday....
He's one of those guys that REALLY plays with a little kid when one pays attention to him! Allie thinks he's great! We do too!!!

Ashtyn Earl and her Mommy...
honestly, who doesn't LOVE to snuggle one of these little cuties?

Fun Fridays!

Lately our kids have been REALLY into building huts and sleepovers, so a they had the idea to combine the 2 and have a sleepover in a hut in our family room! They had SOOOO much fun with the ENTIRE process, UNTIL it came to cleaning it all up!!

What goofballs!!

And the winner is....

PiNEwOod dErBy 2009

Nate is the winner!!!

He won 1st place with his "Arrow" car that he and his dad made (yes Nathan Earl, Nate DID help build his car....Brian did the wheels and the cutting, but Nate was in on it ALL!!!)

At the last pinewood derby that he competed in, which was 2 years ago and happened to be his FIRST Scouting activity, he won with his awesome "Gecko" car....AND he helped A LOT with that one too! Jake was lucky enough to be allowed to participate in the actual event this year (Thanks Cub Master Earl!! Hey, and just for the record, Jake was part of the process in constructing his "Charger" car too!) Can you tell he LOVES football??? You can't see it here, but his car is shaped like a lightning bolt and the #32 on the front represents one of his FAVORITE former Utes players...Eric Whettle!!!!

Hayden and Jatzen showing off their SWEET rides!!!
These guys are Nate and Jake's buddies, they are pretty fun kids!!!

Brother Chamberlain is ALWAYS in attendace when we have a Scouting activity! What a good sport! He helped Raymond out and let him pull the rece trigger!!!

I award Brian The Cutest Daddy at the Pinewood....

"Now Hayden, can you tell everyone how hard it was for dad to build your car? Tell them what a goon I am with power tools...and how lost I am when it comes to sanding. Tell them that mom had to teach me the philosophy of "with the grain" and "righty-tighty, lefty-loosey" to keep us going! "

Man...where would that guy be without his Jeannie???

Let the good times roll!!!!

We have such FUN boys in our ward!

We REALLY liked Spencer's car too!! Very original AND creative!!!
