Summer project...

Brian and Nate have been busy for a couple of months with a project that has turned out to be pretty impressive... They decided to build a terrarium after attending a Reptile Expo last fall. They built the whole thing this summer and I think it is worth showing off!!! Last month they finally were able to add the last big feature...dart frogs. They have 5 yellow and black little frogs and they are actually pretty neat to watch! I NEVER thought we'd be the family with an entire zoo in our home, but I'm starting to get used to it...

I'm so glad that they have such a good time together and enjoy so many of the same things! It has been fun to see them learn so much from a project that was intended to distract Nate from drama (and to satisfy his dad's curiosity about how HE would put together all the different components and make it look good).

Sadly, I would be willing to give up a few aquariums for a terrarium of my own...I love all the plants and the fact that Brian doesn't have to clean them out like an aquarium!
