What was I thinking? I have decided to try to contibute to our family a little more so that we can establish savings and build our food storage up a bit...so my goodd friend Kellie called me a couple weeks ago and shared her idea for the same purpose. So I am officially a "paper girl". That's right, folks! I get up at 2 AM and deliver newspapers in American Fork. I rode with Kellie here in Harvest last week and she was finished in 2 1/2 hours. The pay is NOT BAD for 2 1/2 hours of work, but my route has taken me no less than 6 hours every day! I am completely exausted because I am babysitting Sam Dawdy 2 days a week and still working at the school three days a week...YIKES! I am hoping to start getting better at chucking papers to eliminate the 6 hour time span I am sleep driving through neighborhoods!

You are one CRAZY gal! DO you really have the time for one more thing? Do you have a secret energy pill, cause I need some, you seem to run circles around me? I've actually thougth about doing the paper thing, but well, the early AM and being tied down....not for me!
You are so awesome, Mary Ann! I had a paper route for several years when we lived in AL. I loved doing it, except for the fact that there were no days off. And you're right, it is good money for the amount of time involved. Hang in there, it gets better - I promise. And if you ever just need to get some sleep during the day, Allie is welcome to come over and play with Lance. I'm serious. See y'all tonight at the big scrimmage - we are so excited!
CRAZY GIRL!!! How do you function getting up at 2 am? I would die! I am having a hard time getting up in enough time to get my kids ready for school and out the door to the bus at 7:20. Good goal to use it to build up your food storage though. I need to do that too.
